Postdoctoral Associate Position in OCD & Anxiety

A focused training opportunity for postdoctoral associates committed to evidence-based care for OCD, anxiety disorders, and psychological assessment.

Training philosophy

This fellowship is built around the belief that excellent clinical training requires both depth and breadth — deep immersion in a specialty area alongside the diagnostic and conceptual skills to understand the whole person.

Fellows work closely with Dr. Flanigan-Landeros in a collaborative, consultative model. Supervision is active and engaged, not evaluative from a distance. You will be expected to bring your clinical reasoning, your questions, and your uncertainty — and you will be supported in developing all three.

The practice's commitment to non-stigmatizing, values-guided care extends to how we train. Fellows are encouraged to develop their own clinical voice within an evidence-based framework, rather than simply replicating a supervisor's style.

Supervision and mentorship

Weekly individual supervision

One-on-one supervision with Dr. Flanigan-Landeros focused on case conceptualization, treatment planning, and clinical skill development.

ERP and ACT consultation

Structured guidance in delivering Exposure and Response Prevention and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for OCD and anxiety presentations.

Assessment training

Hands-on experience with psychological and neuropsychological assessment, including ADHD evaluation, differential diagnosis, and report writing.

Professional development

Support for conference presentations, manuscript preparation, licensure preparation, and career planning conversations.

Hours20–25 clinical hours/week plus 3 hours of supervision

EligibilityPostdoctoral associates who have completed their doctoral degree, internship, and dissertation, and are working toward licensure as a psychologist in California
